ALL CARD GAMES

INTRODUCTION
Involves risk as players need to decide to Knock or to wait for a better hand. Variations of this game can be found in many countries. Similar rules to Rummy.
HOW TO PLAY 31
Players are dealt three cards. One card is turned face up to decide the trump card. The deck is then placed on top of the trump card, ensuring it's still visible e.g. 10♦️.
Player one plays one card to start the pile e.g. 8♥️. The other players then take it in turns to play any card from their hand.
Players can play any card they want at any time. The winner of the hand is the player who played the highest card in the leading suit played or plays the highest trump card e.g. 2♦️ wins.
The player that wins the hand places the cards face down next to them. They then take one card from the deck and add it to their hand e.g. 7♦️.
The winner of the last hand goes first in the next round e.g. 6. The game continues by repeating the steps starting from The Play.
The Hand Ranking and Point Scores are in the same order with A being highest and scoring eleven points. 3 is the second highest card, worth ten points. All suits score the same number of points.
When all cards have been played, players count up their total points. There are a total of one hundred and twenty points available.
THE DEAL

Three cards are dealt to each player. One card is turned over to start the pile. The other cards form the deck. Each player is given three chips.
THE PLAY
Player one can take one card from either the deck or the pile, e.g. 10. Players attempt to score thirty one points, see Points Per Card.

HOW TO WIN
The player with chips left at the end is the winner. Collect enough points in each round to not be last and lose chips.
DISCARD A CARD
Player one then discards one of their four cards e.g. 6♦️. Players then take it in turns to follow the same process.

THIRTY ONE

KNOCK
Players can only knock when it is their turn. They do not get to pick up a card. All other players then get one more turn. The player with the lowest score loses a chip.

LOWEST SCORE

TIE
If two or more other players, who did not knock, tie for the lowest score they both lose a chip.

POINTS PER CARD

Players can only score points by counting cards in the same suit e.q. 10♠️, J♠️, A♠️ scores thirty one points. Three of the same number scores thirty points e.g. 3, 3, 3.
NO CHIPS
