ALL CARD GAMES
INTRODUCTION
Black Jack is not the casino game where players score twenty one. This game requires players to try playing all of their cards. They must pick up cards for penalties.
HOW TO PLAY BLACK JACK
Each player gets 7 cards face down that they arrange in sequence. One card is dealt face up to start the pile.
Players must match the top card on the pile by playing the same suit or number.
Players can play multiple cards if the numbers match 5♠ 5♣ or if the cards are one lower or higher of the same suit 5♠ 6♠. Combinations can also be played together 5♣ 5♠ 6♠. The next player must then match the same suit or number as the top card on the pile.
If a player cannot play they have to pick up a card from the deck, that card can be played straight away if it is the same suit or number as the top card on the pile, or if it is a Trump card.
Once a Trump card is played the next player needs to play the same Trump card or pick up cards as a fine. If they play the same Trump then the fine doubles for the next player. Trumps only counts if they are the top card(s). You cannot play straight after picking up cards for a fine.
A's can be played at any time but not on top of a Trump card.
When playing a queen another card of the same suit (or an A) must be played immediately after by the same player. If this is not possible then the player must pick up another card.
When a player has one card left, or multiple cards they can play at one time, they must call 'last card(s)' on the turn before they finish.
THE DEAL
Each player is dealt seven cards face down that they arrange in sequence. One card is dealt face up to start the pile.
THE PLAY
Players must match the top card on the pile by playing the same suit or number e.g. 7.
HOW TO WIN
The first player to play all the cards wins the game. The game then stops and there is a new deal.
COMBINATIONS
Players can play multiple cards if the numbers match e.g. 5♣️, 5♠️ or if the cards are one higher or lower of the same suit e.q. 5♠️, 6♠️.
Combinations can also be played together e.g. 5♣️, 5♠️, 6♠️.
PICK UP
The next player must then match the same suit or number as the top card on the pile. If a player cannot play, they have to pick up a card from the deck e.g. 6 .That card can be played
straight away if it is the same suit or number as the top card on the pile, or if it is a trump card.
FOLLOW TRUMPS
Once a trump card e.g. K, 2 or J is played, the next player needs to play the same trump, or pick up cards as a fine. If they play the same trump, then the fine doubles for the next player. Trumps only counts if they are the top card(s). Players cannot play again after they pick up a fine.
TRUMPS
SERVING THE QUEEN
When playing a Q or another card of the same suit (or an A) must be played immediately after by the same player e.g. Q then 9. If this is not possible, then the player must pick up another card.
LAST CARD
When a player has one card left, or multiple cards, they can play at the same time, they must call “last card(s)” on the turn before they finish.
ENDING THE GAME
The first person to play all of their cards wins the game. The game then stops and there is a new deal.

TIPS
Remember that playing two of the same trump card doubles the fine.
STRATEGY
Save trump cards until others are played. This lowers the chance of having to pick up cards as a fine.10 over other cards as you get an extra go.
Remember the cards your opponents pick up from the pile.
EXTRAS
If the deck is empty, pause the game and take the top card off the pile. The dealer then shuffles the other cards and uses them to create a new deck under the top card from before.pile (or Trumps) the player can also pick up one of
ADDITIONAL RULES
Add one or more additional rules for when players can slap:
– Use the 7 to change the direction of play.
– Play with jokers, they are the same card as the last card played and can be played at any time
– Add a punishment for the player who has the most cards at the end of the game e.g. they deal the next round.
– If a player makes a mistake, they must pick up one card as a punishment.
