INTRODUCTION
Learning the rankings of poker hands is all you need to start playing. As enjoyable with two players as it is with three or four.
Learn how to play Chinese Poker with these simple rules.
HOW TO PLAY CHINESE POKER
Each player is dealt 13 cards, the remaining cards are put to the side.
Make three poker hands (see next page for hand rankings) and place them face down in front of you.
The first hand has to be with three cards, which has to be your worst hand. The second two hands are five cards each with the last hand being your best hand.
Count one point for each hand won. Win all three hands and you performed a sweep and get two bonus points, get additional bonus points for hands with four of a kind or higher.
The first player to get to 30 points with jokers or 20 points without jokers wins.
If players do not order their hands correctly they lose 5 points, no other points are counted and there is a new deal.
THE DEAL

TIPS
Remove jokers to increase the skill level.
STRATEGY
If you have a bad hand dealt to you then try and win the first hand and accept you will lose the other two hands, this way your opponent does not get bonus points for a sweep.
EXTRAS
Set a monetary value per point and the winner gets the set amount for every point they won by.
VARIATIONS
OPEN FACE CHINESE POKER
The first five cards of each players hand is dealt face up and must be left on the table, they are slotted into.
Don’t play with jokers or change the points totals for the extra hands.
